My passion is water drop photography. The forms of these splashes are not photo manipulated. I do colour balance, light balance, clean-up and sharpening in post editing.

Something like this comes only once. In this, the second drop landed on the front of the first one coming up.

One of my all time favorites. This made the cover of January 2012 issue of EOS Magazine in the UK, along with a two page article inside.
The colored background is from two colored gels placed on each of the two flash guns behind the water tray.

$Corrie White > Spiderman The refractions in the drop come from a picture hung upside down, about 8 to 10 inches behind the drop.$

A favorite of mine. For this I used milk dropped into water in a black pan. I directed the light from the flash to shine only on the direct drop area. One of my early ones. A manual "fluke".

Corrie White > A Drop in Space

I like the timing on this drop. It is just about to touch the surface of the water. The "clouds" you see are from milk dropped into the water from the splashes before this one. The reason for the difference in color in the drop on top of the water is a shadow from the direction of the flash.

This one is very special to me. This was one of my very first 3 drop splashes which I did on March 29th, 2010. I had never seen one of these before and I was thrilled to see this come up on my screen.

There have been many names suggested for this one. Liquids do strange things.

The colored background in this is made using tinfoil behind the water tray and the colors come from several different colored gels on the flash guns positioned on either side of the drop.

This is plain white milk colored with gels on the flash guns .

Corrie White > Sun Dancer

Another made on the same day as "Tiny Dancer" Still one of my favorite shapes. This is yellow dyed milk falling into blue water to cause a green stem.
